About Flare Events
Flare Events was founded in Toronto with the idea of modernizing the speed dating formula and improving the dated concept for a better and more engaging experience. We also carefully select each venue. Our in-person speed dating events are hosted at exciting, not overpriced venues; and our team ensures they are easily accessible and have a welcoming, social atmosphere. We aim to provide singles events you’ll rave about at venues you’ll want to come back to. Currently, we operate events in Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver for the heterosexual community but are working hard on bringing events for the LGBTQ+ community in the near future! We hope to soon bring these events across Canada to help daters build meaningful connections that can last a lifetime.
In-person speed dating events
Our in-person speed dating events run like no other. With engaging hosts, warm-up games, and maybe even a giveaway or two, we do our part to kick up the excitement in the first half. In the second half of the event, we pair the couples together and every 8 minutes cycle to the next match. After you’re done talking with our wonderful daters, hand in your scorecard and expect to hear some exciting news from our team within the next few days.
